Chinese Giant Salamander
The largest salamander and amphibian found in the world is the Chinese Giant Salamander of about 180 cm. It is an aquatic animal and is found mainly in rocky mountain streams and lakes of China. Due to its habitat loss, pollution and many other reasons, it is considered to be critically endangered. The animal has a large head yet small eyes with dark skin. Even though its head is flat and broad, it has a wide mouth.
Giant Coconut Crab
Also known by the name of robber crab or palm thief, Coconut crab is the largest arthropod that lives on land and weighs about 4.1 kg. It is mainly found in Indonesia, across Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean and Gambier Islands. They are related to the hermit crabs of the genus Coenobita. This crab has about 10 legs and abdomen and a front section known as the cephalothorax.

One of the oldest domestic rabbits from Ankara (present day Turkey) is known for its long and soft wool. They were first seen in the United States of America but are usually known for the long Angora wool. This rabbit is considered to be finer than Cashmere and has the size of about 11 microns in diameter.

Considered to be the largest freshwater turtle is the Cantor’s giant soft-shelled turtle which is considered to be endangered and hence totally disappeared since the 20th century. This turtle has a broad head and yet small eyes and its carapace is soft. It grows till the length of 1.8 metres and the heaviest of them all weighed about 250 kg.
