<h2><strong>Vijender Singh</strong></h2>
<p>Vijender Singh Beniwal is an amateur boxer turned professional. Before turning into a professional boxer, Vijender Singh won a silver medal at the Asian Games of 2006 and a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics along with many more medals. Turning professional, Vijender is currently the WBO Asia Pacific Super Middleweight Champion and WBO Oriental Super Middleweight Champion. Apart from boxing, Vijender Singh has also starred in a Bollywood film, Fugly.</p>

<p>Hailing from the Kom tribe of Manipur, Chungneijang Mary Kom Hmangte better known as Mary Kom is an Indian female boxer who has won a bronze at the 2012 London Olympics. Mary Kom is also the first Indian female boxer to win a gold at the Asian Games of 2014. A Bollywood movie was also made based on her journey of becoming the most successful female boxer of India.</p>

<h2><strong>Akhil Kumar</strong></h2>
<p>An Indian boxer who practices an “open guarded” boxing style has several international medals to his name. Akhil Kumar, hailing from Faizabad is an Arjuna Awardee for his achievements in international boxing. To name a few of Kumar’s achievements, he won a gold in the 2006 Commonwealth games and is also known for his brilliant performance at the 2008 Olympics.</p>

<p>Hailing from Kolkata, Mohammad Ali Qamar is the first Indian to win a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games in 2002 held in Manchester. His skills as a boxer were first seen by the world in the 1999 at the World Amateur Boxing Championship held in Houston.</p>

<p>Captain Hawa Singh was an Indian heavyweight boxer. He is known and remembered as someone who dominated Indian as well as Asian amateur boxing in his class for over a decade. He was given by the government the Arjuna Award for boxing. He is also the founder of the Bhiwani Boxing Club which has produced 4 boxers that represented India at the 2008 Summer Olympics held in Beijing.</p>
