Following are the places that one must visit in Rajasthan.</p>
<h2>Jaisalmer</h2>
<p>It is famously known as the Golden City where Thar Desert resides. It has beautiful sand dunes, forts, palaces, and temples. The city got its name from Maharaja Jaisal Singh. Annual Desert Festival is held in the city starting from January to February. The best time to visit is from November to April.</p>
